Many of you have expressed concern this past week about continuing your dental care, knowing the virus is still out there. We understand completely, because at the end of the day, we are all stuck in the same situation. These last two months have been very busy for us as we researched and ultimately implemented what we are referring to as our “Clean Air Project.” This project is all about keeping everyone as safe as possible in our new normal, focusing on limiting the deposits of potentially infectious aerosols inside our office while aggressively scrubbing the air clean in rapid cycles all day long (utilizing heavily researched, truly state of the art technology).
While it is impossible to promise 100% safety, we are confident in the changes we have made to our practice and operations to reduce the chance of viral transmission. We are working on putting this all in a more digestible format on our website, but in the meantime if anyone is interested in reading the details of how we are managing safety in the COVID-19 era, here is a link to our internal office memo (not originally meant for the public): https://www.bestdentistabq.com/clean-air/
The Clean Air Project is not just about COVID-19. It is also an opportunity for us to push ourselves to the next level of safety by creating the cleanest environment possible for you and our team members, many of whom are young mothers and want nothing more than to come to work and be safe too.
It is my true belief that once we are 100% set up (some items are still on the way due to supply chain issues), this office will be one of the safest places to be in the city. We are truly all in this together, and if you’re at risk, we’re at risk. As both a doctor and small business owner, I take my dual responsibility to care for my patients and team very seriously.
During the lockdown, my husband and I agreed that we would rather go out of business than put even one person at risk, so we invested everything we could afford to increase safety to the highest levels. We are very proud of our Clean Air Project and hope you feel 100% comfortable being treated at our office. We are totally committed to your good health.
